Alexandros Pandi (Alex) was born in Istanbul, Turkey, of Greek parents. At an early age, Alex moved to Athens, Greece, where he was attracted to the art world of history and expression. Upon receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Ontario College of Arts and the University of Toronto, Canada, Alex pursued a career as an Art Director.
While a student at the Ontario College of Arts, Alex had the honor of studying under the direction of Carmen Cereceda, a famous Artist and Muralist in Chile, Canada, and in Mexico City where she lives and continues painting commissioned murals in government buildings.
After relocating to Phoenix, Arizona, Alex returned to his first love, Fine Arts.
Since 2012, he has focused on painting still lifes, figures, portraits, landscapes, and iconography. Alex expresses his themes in a straightforward method that
demonstrates what you see, his truth. He is a realistic painter whose work has
been inspired by the Neo-Classical era, which is incorporated into his contemporary
representation. His themes express life’s feelings of beauty, pain, and sheer
enjoyment.
