St. George was a high ranked military officer in the Roman Army that suffered martyrdom for announcing his Christian faith. (A.D.303)
I have admired his life story for how popular he became to many denominations of Christian churches. In mid-2021 I was inspired to start this painting and have worked on it off and on for several months as the painting came to life. Now, nearing completion, I am looking forward to installing it at St. George Orthodox Church in Prescott. A limited number of prints will be available. Email me if you are interested.
